TRAINING: After I go to work for 9 hours I head to the gym and jump rope to warm up and usually an 8 minute / 3 set circuit before class.  Then I do class and spar afterwards, which in total is about 4 hours.

When and why did you start training for fighting? I started training 7 years ago just to get in shape and learn how to defend myself. After only a few months I became very good and pursued it in competition.

What titles have you held? No titles. I was number 1 in New England and now number 2.

Do you have any heroes? Arnold Schwarzenegger and Dwayne Johnson are 2 of my favorite people who, if you look at how hard they work for what they want, is exactly what I strive to do.

What would it mean for you to fight in the UFC? This is the world to me. It's what I've been working towards since I started and to be able to be one of the few that follow their dreams and succeeds is an amazing feeling.

What was your job before you started fighting? Before fighting - and now - I work in a manufacturing plant. I used to make car gaskets, now I make airplane engine parts. Also I did 4 years as security forces in the Air Force, I spent 2 years in Germany and 2 in New Mexico.

Specific accomplishments in amateur competition? I went undefeated in both amateur MMA and kickboxing with a total record of 7-0.

Specific accomplishments in pro competition? I went 7-0 to start my career and was 2-1 in Bellator
