Biography

Thoughts on opponent, Juan Espino? Juan is a game opponent who has a great MMA IQ and lots of experience.

When and why did you start training for fighting? I was trying to stay in shape for football while I was on college break.

What ranks and titles have you held? Several amateur and professional titles in smaller promotions.

Do you have any heroes? My dad and my son are my heroes. My dad raised me to be the man I am, and my son fights to survive every day. If he has the will to fight, then so do I.

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It's a dream come true and a mission accomplished. I'm just going to continue to take steps to better myself and move up in the organization.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? I have a bachelor’s in business.

What was your job before you started fighting? I am a mechanic and I run a full service shop.
