TRAINING: I wake up and eat a small breakfast. Then I go to my S&C at Tactical S&C. After that I’ll probably go to the beach and dive or relax for a little bit then head home and rest for training. Then I’ll either practice BJJ with my team, Caveirinha JJ or HiBred Fight House. After one of those two, I then switch over to the fighters’ class, where all the fighters or future fighters come in to train or prepare. Then I go home, eat dinner and get a good night’s rest to repeat this M-F.

When and why did you start training for fighting? I started fighting when I was seven. I loved action movies and superheroes and wanted to be like them, so my mom signed me up for BJJ because she didn’t want me punching kids in the head or me getting punched in the head. I fell in love with it and branched off with kickboxing and wrestling at 14 years old and MMA at 18 years old.

What titles have you held? 18 NAGA belts. Iwlc 145 belt. SEC 145 belt. X1 145 world title.

What would it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It would mean a lot considering my life is formed around martial arts and I would be in the biggest martial arts company.

What was your job before you started fighting? School. I am currently a cashier at Nico’s Kailua

Specific accomplishments in amateur competition? I held two titles in two organizations. I have all first-round finishes. My first fight was for a title because nobody wanted to fight the champ on a short notice.

Specific accomplishments in pro competition? I am the youngest X1 world champ. I have all 1st round finishes. I broke my hand in the beginning of a fight and finished the fight later in the first round.

Ranks in any martial arts styles: BJJ black belt

Favorite grappling technique: Being on top

Favorite Striking technique: Punching and moving

  • Pro since 2016
